It’s a new day…. and I’m feelin good

I used to be a blogger! I used to enjoy writing my posts and getting out there and meeting new people. Unfortunately I was abducted by the real world and my blogging sadly took a back seat.

I currently have scaffolding all around my house.  It’s something of a big old place and it is most definitely a money pit, but I love it.  Oh yes the reason for this tangent, the scaffolding has stopped our satellite dish from working. So we have been TVless for the past month. No soaps, no news, no reality TV… fan blooming tastic. His Lordship, (my husband), and I have rediscovered the tricky art of conversation, yes with each other! I have categorized and card indexed the entire contents of my underwear draw, colour coded my wardrobe and finally found the buttons I bought two years ago to go on my then favourite jacket. Said jacket is now residing at the local charity shop.

The scaffolding has set me free from the restraints of the box lurking in the corner of my sitting room, freed my mind of inane clutter, well sort of, and kick started my desire to be creative once more. (After reading this you may well disagree.) But it did get me thinking about the things I have been missing of late and blogging is one of those things.  So the scaffolding will be coming down next week and I am determined not to return to nightly vigil of box watching.

Welcome to my world. XX
